The face behind School House Tutors
At the forefront of School House Tutors is myself, Brandi Seigler! I am a wife, mother, and educator of 10 plus years! I was born and raised in Tyler and attended college at The University of Texas at Austin where I studied Early Childhood Education with a minor in English as a Second Language. I was blessed with amazing educators and mentor teachers that poured into me during my early stages of becoming a teacher.
After returning to Tyler, I worked for Tyler ISD for 9 wonderful and fun years before I had my twin boys and decided to stay home. After our first year of survival mode parenting, my mom suggested I try private tutoring and 2.5 years later I am still working with some of my very first students! Tutoring has been such a blessing to me to continue my passion of teaching but also take care of my boys! Many of my students feel like family and I am so thankful for the opportunity to continue the important work that is education.
I created School House Tutors with the goal to create a huge network of professional and caring educators that can touch students all across East Texas!
